Printed Waterslide Transfer Set - 4 Sheets

A full four-sheet set of vintage 1950s glass Christmas ornaments - nearly 70 designs - laid out the way you actually decorate: big statement pieces, smaller ornaments to fill in around them, tiny accents, garland borders and matching corners.

Mercury-glass baubles with worn silvering, indent ornaments with their star-shaped reflector dimples, a clip-on glass songbird, a painted winter cottage, a glass strawberry and acorn, a little red glass house, hanging ornaments on velvet ribbon, and soft dusty colors straight out of a 1950s ornament box: faded red, sage, dusty aqua, dusty pink, soft gold and worn silver.

Printed on Both Sides - and That Is the Whole Point

The front of each sheet is your artwork in full color. The back is the same artwork again in gray. These go on COLOR SIDE DOWN, and clear film is nearly invisible once it lifts off its backing - so the gray image shows you exactly where each piece is sitting, and which way round it is, while you position it. It lifts away with the backing and is not part of the finished piece.

A Note on Surfaces

These are printed on clear film, so there is no white ink - every pale area lets the surface underneath show through. The glass highlights and snowy whites in this set look their best on WHITE or CREAM: chalk-painted furniture, an ivory tray, a white-washed sign, a pale tin or a cream gift box. On a mid-tone surface the pale areas pick up the color beneath them; on dark surfaces they will not read.

How to Use It

Cut each design out close to the edge. Wet your surface generously. Lay the piece color side down, using the gray image to line it up. Cover with a wet cloth, press it down, and wait two to three minutes. Burnish, peel the backing away slowly, and the image stays behind. Full printed instructions come with every order. Works on wood, painted furniture, glass, ceramic, metal, candles and more; glass and ceramic can be oven set for durability.
