Grandma's Cookie Shelf - the retro kitsch cookie tin labels from my YouTube video, printed on 8.5 x 11 inch 20lb bond paper and ready to brush on. 12 skinny tin bands and 5 lid circles that turn plain round tins into a shelf of 1950s bakery tins.

Every band names what's inside - Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread Men, Snickerdoodles, Peppermint Bark, Homemade Fudge and more - in big swashy retro script on a cream ribbon banner, with a starburst badge and a smiling cartoon cookie or candy at the end. Faded barn red, sage, mid-century aqua and golden yellow, with a soft crackled, well-loved-tin finish. And a wink or two: "Oatmeal Raisin - Sorry!" and "Cookies for Santa - Hands Off!"

WHICH LID SIZE?

Measure across the top of your tin's lid and pick the circle that sits just inside the rim: 5.25 in for a small tin, 6.5 in for a medium tin, 7.5 in for a large tin, 8.25 in for an extra large tin. One band covers the front of a tin like a label; join two at the back for a full wrap.

HOW TO USE

Tear (don't cut) around each design for a soft feathered edge that disappears into the finish. Brush decoupage medium onto a light-colored surface, lay the  paper on, and brush another coat over the top. A white or cream base coat keeps the colors brightest.
