Father Christmas Farmstead: Primitive Christmas Printable 30 Old World Santa Farm Animal Pages Farmhouse Wall Art
Father Christmas Farmstead - 30 primitive Christmas pages of the old Father Christmas at work on a winter farm.
THIS IS NOT THE MODERN SANTA
He is the old one. Lean and weathered, in a long hooded robe worn thin at the hem, with a staff and a sack - Father Christmas as he looked long before the red suit, the belt and the buckle.
AND HE IS NOT DELIVERING PRESENTS. HE IS DOING THE CHORES.
That is what makes this set different. Nearly every page has an animal in it and a job being done - scattering feed for the hens, drawing a bucket from the well, hauling a tree home on a sled, kneeling at the trough with a goose, leading the draft horse, minding the geese, standing in the barn doorway with the ox. Quiet winter work on an old homestead.
Painted to look like a shabby-prim decoupaged board - soft crackle, worn and rubbed edges, dark corners, the color faded the way a hundred-year-old sign fades.
