Belsnickel & Bough - 40 primitive Christmas die cuts, shaped to fit the projects you actually make.

These are drawn in the style of antique Victorian scrap - the printed die-cut figures pasted into Christmas scrapbooks a hundred years ago. Fine engraved linework, soft faded color, foxing and gently worn edges. Primitive and folk, in faded barn red, oxblood, cream, sage and pine green, walnut brown and antique gold.

The Santas are BELSNICKEL Santas - the old, lean, weathered Father Christmas in a long hooded homespun robe. Not the round modern red-suited Santa.

THE SHAPE IS THE WHOLE POINT

Ordinary die cuts do not fit a narrow tag or a little pocket. These do, because every piece is one of two shapes:

24 TALL & SLENDER - three to four times taller than they are wide, so a figure sits down the length of a gift tag or a bookmark strip without crowding it.

16 HALF FIGURES - busts and low shapes, cut straight across the bottom so they peek up out of a burlap pocket, an envelope or a tucked-in card.

5 TREES - feather tree in a bucket, tinsel tree, bottle brush tree, pine tree with a tin star, and a basket of pine.

16 TRIMMINGS - candy cane with a bow, peppermint sticks, beeswax candle, tall lantern, brass bed warmer, Christmas stocking, nutcracker, two angels, a cherub head, knitted mittens, holly and berries, a punched tin star, a glass ornament, a reindeer head and a robin on a branch.
